This work is inspired by a boat’s disc-on-prow against the evil eye (Yavne-Yam, Israel, 5th-3th century BCE) and a mirror plaque (Nizana, Israel, 4th-7th century CE). The artist imagines Iona moments before boarding a cruise ship which will tour the Mediterranean.
